The Oliver's, a dedicated military couple
launched their ministry in 2009 with limited resources, which evolved into the U.R. Important Foundation.
Director Oliver, a beacon of inspiration, has wholeheartedly focused on assisting families in her community and beyond. Her unwavering commitment to the Foundation’s goal, despite her health challenges and the impact of COVID-19, is a testament to her dedication and resilience.
In response to the challenges posed by #COVID-19, Director Oliver and the URIF team introduced the “Grab-N-Go” food distribution, ensuring that individuals could still access food while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
URIF’s dedication to serving the community has remained strong despite the pandemic. Director Oliver’s commitment to “serving” the community exemplifies her passion for making a meaningful difference.

The U.R. Important Foundation is committed to restoring dignity, self-worth, and value for individuals in our communities who require food or other support. Our mission is to empower and revitalize each person so they can lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively to society.
Vision
“We are dedicated to being a leading resource for those in need in our community and surrounding areas. Our initiatives include the “Grab-N-Go” Food Distribution Program, Turkey Giveaway, “Toys for All” Program, and our Military “Hearts 4 Soldiers” Program. In addition to our Storehouse Pantry, we provide both perishable and non-perishable food.”
